About The Amber

The Amber Assisted Living facility is known for its warmth and friendliness and has a lengthy reputation of great service and genuine care. We have a total of 32 one-bedroom and studio apartments filled with lovely residents from the surrounding area. They are thrilled to continue being a part of the Clatskanie community, while receiving the care they need.

Three delicious home style meals are prepared daily and served in a welcoming spacious dining room. Our signature salad bar, which is a part of each meal, has become the facility’s sensation for its fresh veggies and buffet style serving concept.

We have daily fun activities that give our residents much needed social interaction and fulfill any desires for entertainment. We also have a beauty & barber shop on site, and scheduled transportation for any appointments such as banking and medical is available. The Amber is kept up immaculately and part of your monthly rent is weekly housekeeping service.

Our friendly and well trained staff is on the premises 24 hours a day to provide not only the required professional support and safety, but also an emotional boost. Most of The Amber’s employees grew up in the area and come from generations of locals. They welcome the opportunity to be surrounded by the wisdom and experience of our residents, often the parents of their neighbors and friends. The Amber is a community within a community.
